Altas:
Instrumental electronic/post-rock band from Denver.

When you hear an act being referred to as a “musician’s band,” it usually means the band in question has incredible technical skill but not a lot in the way of emotional resonance when it comes to songwriting — especially if the outfit is instrumental. Altas bucks that trend in every way imaginable. The band’s music, which speaks for itself, has evolved over the past several years. Altas has written some of the most interesting and evocative rock music to come out of Denver, partly because it knows how to speak directly and powerfully to the heart without having to spell everything out with words.

DHX:
Dereck Higgins latest project in collaboration with Aaron Gum, James Alessandro Cuato Ballarin and Jack Phillips.

Active in music since the 70’s Dereck is known for his bass playing skills and diverse musical interests. He has played many styles from punk to jazz to blues to electronic to Cajun.

Mint Wad Willy:
soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo indie.. (note: these guys rule)

Jack McLaughlin:
Jack McLaughlin’s young career has already had ups and downs. Hours before his school talent show, McLaughlin’s backing band backed out. With a spot already booked, the Omaha Central High School sophomore played anyway, spawning a solo project almost out of necessity.

Jack McLaughlin still enjoys playing in bands, but might be among the Nebraska’s best yet-unknown singer/songwriter. NOT FOR LONG – trust us!

The self-taught guitarist has released two albums, written more than 100 additional songs and made appearances on local daytime television.
