“Wine Tilt” by Plainclothes Tracy | Love Drunk Video

We arrived in Knoxville to shoot Plainclothes Tracy just a couple days before the band’s sophomore release, Buffalo. On Day 13 of the 2012 Love Drunk Tour, our location was a rooftop beer garden on the third floor of the Preservation Pub overlooking the downtown area of Knoxville. And though it was a beautiful night for shooting a live music video on a rooftop, it was an even better night to sit out on the upper deck and have a few. The place was absolutely jam-packed.

We made our way to the end of the patio and found a small space that would accommodate the band and our six-person Love Drunk crew. The band finished setting up just as the sun took its solace for the evening. We set up one light and counted on the moon and the ambient glow from the downtown skyline to do the rest. The band knocked out "Wine Tilt," a great tune that mixes modern indie pop influences with a dose of natural southern rock. Watch it here.

Eight Love Drunk videographers went on tour shooting live, one-take videos with bands across the eastern part of the U.S., spreading the word about Nebraska music along the way from May 4-20. This was day 13 of the 17-day tour. Learn more about the project and the tour here. Watch all the videos here.
