There were a number of Nebraskans taking the two stages this year at Maha Music Festival. Concertgoers certainly took notice, showing up for shows by bands such as The Seen and Eli Mardock early in the day, and sloppily dancing on an inclined hill with Icky Blossoms as the sun disappeared behind the stage in the evening.
While most attendees we met were also Nebraskans, plenty of music fans traveled to Stinson Park from many more miles away to check out Nebraska’s music scene, as well as see some solid acts from around the country.
We asked a few festivalgoers (both Nebraskans and visitors) who stopped by Hear Nebraska’s booth to explain what Nebraska music means to them. See their responses in our video below.
