You may know Omaha's Nik Fackler a few different ways. As the writer and director of two feature films. As the creative force in InDreama. As a member of Icky Blossoms.

On Tuesday, February 11, Fackler joined his worlds of film and music on a single night. Film Streams hosted the Omaha premiere of Sick Birds Die Easy, Fackler's second full-length film. A cast Q&A session followed the screening of the hybrid film/documentary about a group of tourists to Gabon, Africa, including apperances by actors Sam Martin, Ross Brockley and Emily Sutterlin.

At an after party at the Slowdown Fackler's band InDreama played first, handing the stage over to Fackler's Sick Birds co-star, Sam Martin, who also scored the film. The show also featured Greg Elsasser and Dave Matysiak.
