The lights kept going out, leaving us in the dark as we waited for Black Cohosh to begin playing. Cell phones lit up the scene and new strings of Christmas lights were plugged in, but they’d only last five minutes or so before shorting out again.
Dogs barked and children emceed. After a while, there was enough light to see by and the band started to play, opening with “Rosemary’s Baby," which also opens their debut album streaming on Hear Nebraska:
