by Jordan Minnick

If your sonic sense have yet to collide with Midtown Marauders, now is as good a time as ever. The Omaha hip-hop collective, made up of beat doctors Dojorok and Kethro along with rapping troubadors Black Johnny Quest and Conchance, carries a "cool like jazz" aesthetic. Since last year they've filled a handfull of stages in Omaha and Lincoln — and now the internet with their debut track "Return of Pancho Villa." Yet another sound product from Make Believe, the foursome proves a hip-hop track can be bolstered by piano, then embellished with beats.

And from the horse's mouth to you:

"Enjoy the new Midtown Marauders single! Download this and bump it in your grandma's whip. Look out for an EP this summer. Peace & One from the Midtown Marauders and Make Believe camps."
