Primus in Benson May 28 | Concert News

by Jordan Minnick

Primus called, they've returned from the '90s.

They have a summer tour in support of their new (untitled) album, anticipated for a late spring/early summer release, and they'll be stopping in Omaha over Memorial Day Weekend.

Rad Kadillac and One Percent Productions just announced the band will play May 28 in Downtown Benson, Concert for Equality-style. Opening bands have yet to be announced, but you can plan for the flood gates to open at 6:30 p.m. for a 7:30 p.m. show. Tickets are $32.50 in advance and $35 the day of the show.

The new release is the band's first since 1999's Antipop. And it comes on Rad Kadillac Productions' 5 year anniversary, so all the more reason to get wild at this summer kick-off of a celebration.

Lincoln's Somasphere will get after-party duties underway at the Waiting Room for $5 at a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors open at 10:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. March 12 at radkadillac.com, etix.com, Homer's in Omaha's Old Market and Kinetic Brew at the Bourbon in Lincoln.
