Turning "flyover country" into a stop-and-stay-awhile destination has always been part of Hear Nebraska's mission. Although we seek to shed light on all 93 counties, Lincoln holds a special place in our collective heart.

So in consideration of the many ways to love our Lincoln, Hear Nebraska is proud to partner with the city and other esteemed organizations to Launch Lincoln. Thursday night at Red 9, we will celebrate a new way to look at the Star City. Gates open at 7 p.m., and the bands we've booked — Masses, Tie These Hands and The Mezcal Brothers — will be joined by local food and beverage vendors.

The big news will be unveiled at 7:30 p.m. by Clint! Runge from Archrival. Lincoln food trucks such as A La CARTe will serve the nutrition, and Empyrean Brewing Company along with Blue Blood Brewing Company will serve the beer. The event is 19 and over.
