Lincoln Youth Symphony

The Lincoln Youth Symphony was organized in 1957 by the Lincoln Public Schools  in order to give talented musicians the opportunity to extend their orchestral music performance. Membership is available to students in grade 9-12 in the City of Lincoln and is by audition only. The orchestra rehearses once each week for two and a half hours during the school year and performs three or more times a year.
