InDreama, Icky Blossoms, Plack Blague and Places We Slept at Slowdown | Photo Essay

The freaks come out at night, the freaks come out at night! All the freaks were packed in the big room to see Icky Blossoms throw it down Saturday night at the Slowdown. Not to mention it was also InDreama’s album release show, and the crowd moved in turn..

Places We Slept started out the show and was followed by Plack Blague. Never have I ever seen a man rock a stage in that type of getup. It was a good performance to say the least.

InDreama hit the stage with black light and spooky glowing faces. It was a busy night for Nik Fackler and Sarah Bohling. Both performed in InDreama and Icky Blossoms. Also, Sarah ran over to the House of Loom after the show to do a remix of “Babes.”

Before Icky Blossoms performed, they conducted a Halloween costume contest on stage. David Moore of Lightning Bug took the honor as "Sexy Sax Man." The band started to play, and at that moment, I kind of wished I had left my camera at home. Luckily, I survived the party intact. Icky Blossoms heads out on tour today, joining Omaha’s other dancing machine, The Faint, on some stops. If they are coming to your town, go see them freaks!
