How to Have a Merry MAHA | Preview

By Bryce Wergin

Some say it's about ending the summer with a bang, some say it's about getting together with people you care about, and some say it's about supporting artists.  But at Hear Nebraska, we know the true spirit of MAHA lies in the passion Nebraskans have for music.

MAHA 2011 begins Saturday Aug. 13 (tomorrow) at Aksarben Village. Six national and five local bands perform from at 12-11 p.m. For those of us who aren't so strong with numbers, that's a whooping 11 hours of kick-ass performances from some of the best artists in the country, many of whom reside right here in the Midwest. Here's the venue map and schedule. In addition to the big-name headliners, the local lineup is completely stacked with all of your favorite Nebraska bands, including acts like Noah's Ark Was a Spaceship and The So-So Sailors.

You can win tickets from Hear Nebraska right here.
