This is an exciting time to be living in Lincoln. Our community is experiencing wonderful growth and many more people are discovering what makes this city great. It's time to let this Midwest secret out and showcase all the things that Lincoln has to offer.
Hear Lincoln is a new event made possible by the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Hear Nebraska to showcase the vibrant music scene right here in our city. On each Friday, through Aug. 31, a Lincoln band will perform during the lunch hour from 12-1 p.m. on the corner of 13th and O in front of the Wells Fargo building.
This week, you'll be treated to music by Touch People, an experimental, electronic rock project that truly defies categorization. Fronted by Lincoln's famous one-man band man Darren Keen, Touch People guarantees to entertain.
So grab your lunch and join us Friday for something that, we promise, you've never before seen on a Lincoln sidewalk.
