At the GUNK dance party's "retirement" Thursday, July 26 at The Waiting Room, I had to put down my DSLR midway through as the intensity escalated. I resorted to my best camera — the one on my iPhone — to capture the last hoorah as DJ Kobrakyle called the crowd to the stage to sing Boys to Men’s “End of the Road.”
With phones in the air and lighters lit, the crowd hugged and sang their hearts out. GUNK’s retirement party didn’t bring out the masses, but it attracted some true GUNKers who wanted to send away their old pal in fashion.
Hopefully GUNK won't stay retired for too long. Check out the pictures and see what you missed.
