It's decided: All places should have "dedicated jam stations." In this pair of live performances by The Mynabirds, the Omaha-based band sings "Disarm" and "Generals" during the scenic Pickathon at the Pendarvis Farm in Happy Valley, Ore. It all goes down at a jam station off the beaten festival path.
Yes, Happy Valley, Ore., by its very name, sounds like it could have planned dedicated jam stations along with police stations and schools. And the leafy greens and woody browns surrounding The Mynabirds make for a fitting background to their songs without electricity. KEXP captures it all here as the festival took place Aug. 4, and also offers a boatload more artists in similar setups at Pickathon.
