Ex-Eagle Seagull frontman Eli Mardock recorded and produced “Everything Happens for the First Time”, his first solo record, in various homes in Boston, Seattle, Omaha, and Lincoln over the past two years. Mixed by Justin Gerrish (Vampire Weekend, The Strokes), it is a hypnotizing album, both dream-like and complex.
