David Dondero is “one of the best living songwriters,” according to NPR’s All Songs Considered. On Friday night at O'Leaver's, Dondero spilled out his lyrical madness with his songs about his beloved relationships with alcohol and his acoustic guitar.

Omaha’s Ted Stevens Unknown Project and Brad Hoshaw joined Dondero inside the stuffed O’Leaver’s, escaping the brisk fall night. Once I found a cozy spot inside, I couldn’t help but be silent as I felt the warm breeze of their voices drift my way.
