Welcome to the eighth installment of Frequent Flyers, where we highlight, document and preserve the art behind music. This week, we feature Lincoln artist Craig Mustard.

"When it comes to my work, my inspiration is as ever changing as the wind. I have grown to utilize a wide variety mediums for my personal outcry, which has led me to dabble with graphic design," he says. "Its availability has been extremely seductive and she has proven to be very forgiving, easily. This innate characteristic has given me, time and time again, a stomping ground for my individual interpretation. When it comes to assisting Nebraska's finest performers, the gloves come off and freedom of thought is the celebrated victor. "

 

"I have been active in the music scene for many years. Through that time with a little repetition, I have acquired many skills which present more opportunities to utilize more resources. Graphic Design is one of these skills. It allows me to meet bands, fans, artists and businesses, etc., concerned with media options."  

"Now, when you utilize many modes of communication, the fruit of communication is much sweeter. I write, sing and play instruments, draw and paint, sculpt, dance, and speak. Each one of these skills leads to even more opportunities that flow seamlessly through the other trades." 

"Ultimately, these are ways for me to document thought, refine my thought in relation to purpose, and to fulfill my purpose. My purpose is my inspiration. My name is Craig and expression is my game."
