Conchance knows how to throw an album release party. To put things in perspective, the House of Loom had to tweet people away from showing up:

Easy to believe, too. By the time Max Fischer hit the rug — there was no stage — the crowd had pushed forward and crammed together creating a sweaty, smelly bliss that even the strong incense burning couldn’t cover up.
Fischer had some help from Black Johnny Quest, who was playing the role of gopher for a lot of the performers that night. The crowd, who asked Fischer why he was wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt and why he is an Angels fan, listened earnestly and jumped.
Up next was Dirty Diamonds, who Quest said “have serious drug problems.” Whether or not that is factual, I don’t know. But they did enjoy starting a mosh pit halfway through the set screaming the question, “Which motherfucker stole my flow?” a la Busta Rhymes.
As the teaser says, though, this show was for Conchance and his Calm Kids debut on vinyl and CD, the first release from Make Believe Recordings. The crowd had entirely engulfed the DJ table by the time Conchance was due up, so he had to push his way through the steamy crowd to get to the mic. After a few mellow songs and heartfelt shout-outs to his mom, apparently in attendance — “Look what I made,” he said — Conchance broke off the chains and started to tear the House of Loom apart.
Songs like “Olivia” and “Hipster Bitches” gave everyone a chance to join in on the chorus. When the opening of Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” started, the crowd started jumping in unision, and eventually knocked the DJ table off its stand, forcing Quest to start over a freestyle rap. By the end, he lost his glasses to the mosh pit.
Again, Conchance knows how to throw a party.
