Gunk Presents: Dave Nada @ The Waiting Room | Omaha

Dave Nada has been featured in Spin Magazine, XL8R8, URB, Fader, The Washington Post and spawned his own genre called Moombahton. He performs at the Waiting Room tonight. 9 p.m. $10 for 18-20, and $7 for 21+.

Communist Daughter w/ Kris Lager acoustic @ The Zoo Bar | Lincoln

Twin Cities band (and apparent Neutral Milk Hotel fans) Communist Daughter plays the Zoo Bar with support from Kris Lager. 9 p.m., $5.

Country singer-songwriter Eric Church kicks off a two night stay at Stir Cove. 8 p.m., $30.

Rock Paper Dynamite, Secondwind @ Knickerbockers | Lincoln

Omaha's Rock Paper Dynamite performs at Knickerbockers with Secondwind. 9 p.m.

Open Decks @ Bourbon Theatre | Lincoln

Lincoln DJs Bentone and Blac host the equivalent of an open mic night for DJs. 9 p.m., No Cover for 21+, $5 for 18-20.

Live karaoke band Shithook plays at Duffy's. 10 p.m., 21+
