Biography

Lincoln’s Symphony Orchestra has been performing classical orchestral music in Lincoln, Nebraska since it was founded in 1927. As a professional ensemble of more than 65 musicians, Music Director Edward Polochick leads the orchestra in nine concerts each year (with classical, family, and pops concerts) in its home at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. With the mission to enrich, educate and entertain current and potential audiences through the performance and advancement of symphonic music, outreach and community education programs are at the heart of LSO’s activities.
